Hiring Forklift Operators

Virginia Beach, VA

$23/hr

7am - 4pm (M-F)

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for upgrading inventory bins at a distribution center to make the facility more automation-friendly. You will operate a stand-up forklift to move pallets and materials throughout the distribution center. Certification is required and must be presented before starting the role.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a stand-up forklift to move pallets and materials.
  • Handle materials and inventory within the distribution center.
  • Load and unload pallets using a forklift.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of the forklift.
  • Assist with general labor tasks as needed.
Essential Skills
  • Forklift certification (must be presented prior to start).
  • Experience operating a stand-up forklift.
  • Material handling and inventory management skills.
  • Experience in a distribution environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience using a pallet jack.
  • General labor experience.
  • Steel or composite toe boots required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00
