Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Mover to join our team. This role involves moving materials within a distribution center to support the upgrade of inventory bins and enhance automation. This position requires significant physical activity, including standing and walking throughout the day, as well as lifting and moving objects. You will be responsible for using pallet jacks, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management.

Responsibilities
  • Move materials within the distribution center
  • Hand off pods to the loading/unloading team
  • Use pallet jacks to move products from one place to another
  • Load and unload trucks of materials and supplies
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks
  • Assist with inventory management
  • Remain on your feet for the entirety of the workday
Essential Skills
  • Experience with picking and using pallet jacks
  • Ability to unload and move materials within a distribution center
  • General labor skills including lifting and inventory management
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to document errors
  • Strong communication skills

Work Environment

The work environment is currently in the construction phase, the site includes port-a-potties and is non-climate controlled. Expect to work in a dynamic and evolving construction setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
