LHH seeks a Revenue Cycle Supervisor in Wailuku, HI. (This role is ONSITE)

As an RCM Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the denial management team, ensuring compliance with payment contracts, and addressing remittance issues. Your role will involve close collaboration with external auditors and supporting our compliance efforts, all while keeping up with the ever-evolving healthcare landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide the denial management team to efficiently manage and resolve claim denials, ensuring compliance with healthcare contracts and minimizing revenue loss.

  • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of healthcare contracts to accurately interpret terms and conditions related to payments and denials, providing guidance to your team.

  • Lead the team in addressing and resolving payment issues (Payment Pain) by investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions.

  • Oversee that all denial management activities comply with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.

  • Work closely with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations related to denial processes and financial compliance.

  • Stay proactive with remittance issues, adapting to changes in the healthcare environment and ensuring timely and accurate payment postings.

  • Analyze denial trends and payment discrepancies, guiding the team to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams, external auditors, and healthcare payers to resolve issues and improve processes.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve denial management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy, mentoring your team to do the same.

What We're Looking For:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in denial management, claims processing, and revenue cycle operations. Proven knowledge of healthcare contracts and compliance requirements is essential.

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a recent leadership role.

  • Proficiency in healthcare information systems and software used for claims processing and denial management.

  • Strong analytical abilities to identify trends, investigate issues, and develop solutions.

  • Thorough understanding of SOX compliance and external audit requirements.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills to address payment issues and remittance delays effectively.

  • Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams, external auditors, and healthcare payers.

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Ability to adapt to changes in the healthcare environment and manage remittances effectively.

Onsite | Monday to Friday | 7am-4pm | Contract to hire | Relocation Assistance is Not Available



Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
