Description: We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Bilingual Paraprofessional to join our team in Palo Alto, CA for the 2024-2025 school year. This role requires proficiency in both English and [second language, e.g., Spanish] to support students and teachers, assist with instructional activities, and provide specialized support to students from diverse linguistic backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in both English and [second language].
  • Help manage classroom behavior and support daily tasks.
  • Translate and interpret educational materials and communication between students, teachers, and parents.
  • Monitor and document student progress; collaborate with teachers and parents.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of individualized education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and [second language, e.g., Spanish].
  • Previous experience working with children or students with special needs is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
