We are in the market for a Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the construction industry, located in Seattle, Washington. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. As a Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be tasked with various responsibilities revolving around customer billing, accounts receivable, and maintaining customer records.


Responsibilities:


• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure accuracy

• Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts and billing

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Handle a high volume of invoices monthly

• Adhere to and retain detailed customer requirements

• Utilize specific software for billing and accounts receivable tasks

• Ensure all invoices are approved and coded correctly

• Assist in maintaining an efficient billing system

• Support the service department with billing and learning the process.


The pay range for this position is $28.50 to $33.00 per hour.

• Proficient in Billing, Billing Functions, Billing Statements, and Billing System operations
• Strong experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to process Approved Invoices efficiently
• Skilled in Code Invoices and Coding Invoices
• Experience in handling Customer Invoices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist (CARS) credential is a plus
