Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Accounting Manager to oversee the operations of our accounting department. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining effective communication with teams and clients, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
-Direct and oversee accounting operations to align with business and financial goals.
-Facilitate team meetings and foster interdepartmental collaboration to optimize workflows and service quality.
-Manage budgeting processes and implement policies to enhance operational performance.
Financial Reporting and Management:
-Prepare, review, and submit financial reports with accuracy and timeliness.
-Reconcile monthly reports and provide detailed transaction insights to stakeholders.
-Maintain and improve accounting department procedures and standards.
Client and Team Communication:
-Serve as a key point of contact for client inquiries and provide exceptional service.
-Foster positive relationships with clients and internal teams through clear and professional communication.
-Support team members by providing guidance and resolving concerns effectively.
Compliance and Confidentiality:
-Handle sensitive information in compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies.
-Ensure adherence to company standards through proper training and documentation.
Continuous Improvement:
-Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
-Adapt to changing business needs while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
-3-5 years of accounting management experience, ideally within real estate or property management industries.
-Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and financial reporting tools.
-Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Experience in the HOA, property management, and/or real estate industries.
