About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Permanent Property Accountant to join our team in Baltimore. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of property accounting principles. The ideal candidate will manage the financial aspects of our property portfolio, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Prepare financial statements and reports
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Assist with budget preparation and financial planning
Conduct property audits and inspections
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum of 2+ years of property accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
