We are a dynamic, growing company looking to expand our catering services throughout Connecticut. We are seeking an energetic and skilled Catering Sales Lead & Event Coordinator to join our team and help drive the success of our catering operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise catering staff, including Assistant Managers, Team Leads, and Team Members.
  • Foster a positive, motivating work environment that promotes employee engagement and supports career growth.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring equipment maintenance, staff presentation, customer service, cleanliness, safety, and product merchandising.
  • Oversee the maintenance and safe use of all catering equipment.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to ensure team members are equipped for success.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to ensure event satisfaction and follow up for post-event feedback.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including customer correspondence, payroll management, cash handling, invoicing, and processing service charges.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various conditions and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • In-depth understanding of menu items and catering industry best practices.
  • Experience in catering operations and staff management.
  • Familiarity with franchise management systems (e.g., Square, Salesforce).
  • Positive attitude, creativity, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
