General Production Worker

- The Reclaim/Scrap Operator assists Machine Operators by recycling material and scrap aluminum.
- Works with other teams as needed and helps maintain a clean work environment.
- This role involves peeling protective film from sheets and processing them through a separator to recycle products that do not meet quality standards.
- Will be assisting operators with lifting and feeding the material/product through the recycling machine.
- Will be receiving pallets of products that have not passed quality inspection and this product will be recycled to reuse the material.
- Comfortable working around moving equipment
- Climb ladders and stairs
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, forward reaching, and twisting
- Occasional squatting, crouching, and above shoulder reaching
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Dexterity manipulation for hand tools and light equipment
- Push/pull material using pallet jack
- Frequent lifting up to 10-30 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Moderate exposure to temperature changes in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Nights: 6:00pm - 6:00am
- Need to be comfortable working 12 hour shifts
- Work schedule: 2 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off - work at least one weekend a month
- Needs to be able to train on first shift 8:00am - 4:30pm for the first week of training.
- Non-climate controlled production environment.
