Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Production Team Member to join our team in a recycling role. As a Recycling Operator, you will assist Machine Operators by recycling material and scrap aluminum. This role involves peeling protective film from sheets and processing them through a separator to recycle products that do not meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Machine Operators in recycling material and scrap aluminum
  • Work with other teams as needed to maintain a clean work environment
  • Peel protective film from sheets and process them through a separator
  • Assist operators with lifting and feeding material through the recycling machine
  • Receive pallets of products that have not passed quality inspection and recycle them to reuse the material
Requirements
  • Comfortable working around moving equipment
  • Climb ladders and stairs
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, forward reaching, and twisting
  • Occasional squatting, crouching, and above shoulder reaching
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Dexterity manipulation for hand tools and light equipment
  • Push/pull material using pallet jack
  • Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Moderate exposure to temperature changes in a non-climate-controlled environment
Work Environment
  • Non-climate controlled production environment
