Administrative Assistant



We are in search of an Administrative Assistant for a non-profit in Englewood, CO. This is an in-office role, Monday - Thursday from 8am - 5pm. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be tasked with various assignments from different departments, and your key responsibilities will involve data entry, email correspondence, report generation, and customer service.



Responsibilities:


• Undertake miscellaneous tasks from various departments to ensure smooth workflow.


• Communicate with vendors to place orders for awards for a large member conference, compare pricing, remain detail oriented in order placement details, and issue purchase orders.


• Perform data entry tasks, including updating system records and making necessary changes or updates.


• Aid in the renewal process by assisting with sending out renewal emails or letters to members.


• Execute mail merging of letters efficiently.


• Manage email correspondence, particularly through the awards, scholarship, and other related email inboxes.


• Generate reports for different departments as required.


• Handle outgoing mail duties in a timely manner.


• Assist with registration processes for conferences, including making calls to ensure successful registration.

• Proven experience in an Administrative Assistant role, preferably with a non-profit organization


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint


• Exceptional customer service skills, both written and verbal


• Experience with data entry tasks and managing databases


• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally


• Excellent email correspondence skills with attention to detail


• Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars


• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively


• Demonstrated ability to provide administrative assistance in a fast-paced environment


• Strong organizational and planning skills


• High level of discretion and confidentiality


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
