Customer Support Representative (Contingent Position)
About the Role:
Join the dynamic ISG R4 (Region 4) support team at John Deere, where you'll provide front-line technical support to dealers and customers on Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) products. This contingent role is a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about agriculture and technology, offering retention bonuses and pay increases at 6, 12, and 18 months of employment. Note that this position is strictly contingent, with no expectations for transition to full-time employment.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide technical support for ISG products including MyJohnDeere, JDLink, Operations Center, GreenStar Displays, and more.
- Document each customer interaction and create support tools/solutions available online.
- Support available across multiple channels ensuring optimized customer satisfaction.
Shift Details:
- Contact Center hours: 7 AM - 7 PM CST, Monday - Friday.
- Four rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM.
- Work on-site four days a week, with one day remote.
Special Considerations:
- Training and mentoring on 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM shift for approximately 6 weeks.
- Expect to reach full productivity in 3-4 months.
- Limited travel to nearby facilities for factory tours and farm visits.
Additional Information:
- Consistent attendance throughout the 5-7 week training period is crucial to ensure your success. This dedicated time provides comprehensive training and valuable mentorship, helping you build a strong foundation of knowledge and proficiency.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Cross-border work is not permitted.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven experience in customer service/support roles.
- High comfort level with consumer software applications.
- Strong computer and troubleshooting skills.
- Flexibility to work off-shift hours and occasional holidays
- Experience with data management.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of agriculture customers and operations, including Precision Farming.
- Prior experience in Agriculture or Technology dealer channels.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Engineering, IT, or related fields.
- Technical certification or understanding of IT database management for high school graduates.
