Position Overview
  • Prepare students for transitions between grades or into adult life.
  • Implement behavioral strategies to create a positive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide emotional support to help students develop essential coping skills.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Monitor and assess student progress using various tools and observations.
  • Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications
  • Certification: Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification.
  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Education or Special Education.
  • Experience: Open to all experience levels, including recent graduates.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $35 to $45 per hour.
  • Benefits Package: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Payment Schedule: Weekly pay every Friday.
