Job DescriptionJob Description

CNC Router Operator is responsible for work duties related to the operation of the company CNC Machines. Efficiently moving Engineering Models through programming software or CNC machine-based programing to output workable parts for the Development team. Will work closely with the Solid Shop Supervisor to produce quality parts required for prototypes and production as needed.

Shift: 1st

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Hours: 630am - 3pm

Pay: $25-28 per hour

Type of employment: Direct Hire

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Fosters a culture that values family, innovation, collaboration and empowerment
  • Follows all safety and workplace policies
  • Follow blueprints, work orders, or other instructions to determine product specifications or material requirements
  • Communicate clearly with Solid Shop Supervisor on daily output expectations
  • Ensure equipment maintenance schedule is being followed
  • Complete general equipment maintenance between each use

  • Operating knowledge of department processing equipment and processes
  • Experience working with multiple material types (Wood, Metal, Plastic, Adhesives, Wiring, etc.)
  • Expert level proficiency with reading Mechanical Drawings
  • Expert level proficiency with Drawing Software (SolidWorks, Mastercam, etc.)
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
