Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Analyst in the pharmaceutical industry, based in Cary, North Carolina. The role involves a range of accounting functions, with a focus on managing accounts receivable and ensuring the accurate processing of customer payments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the application of payments to customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in the resolution of deductions or disputes related to customer invoices.
• Support team members with end-of-month activities and other accounting tasks as needed.
• Utilize SAP for uploading bank files and other essential tasks.
• Conduct detailed research and reconciliation of deposits to bank statements.
• Play an integral role in the collections process, following up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare and manage journal entries as part of the overall accounting function.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and data management.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of customer credit information.
• Assist with the billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Pharmaceutical industry
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Billing Functions and Cash Activity
• Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to create and maintain Journal Entries
• Proven Financial Analysis skills
• Experience with Reconciliations
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
