We are partnering with a local organization to bring on a Human Resources (HR) Assistant. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As an HR Assistant, you will primarily assist with document transfer during the transition from one HR platform to another, along with other related HR projects.


Responsibilities:


• Assist with the transition of documents from Paycom to Dayforce.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR documents and information.

• Ensure accurate and detailed attention to all aspects of document transfer.

• Update job descriptions as needed.

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of a new employee handbook.

• Handle other assigned HR projects efficiently.

• Use HRMS and Ceridian tools effectively in performing duties.

• Uphold and improve customer service within the HR department.

• Develop and maintain employee handbook.

• Utilize Dayforce for various HR tasks and functions.

• Proficiency in using HRMS software, preferably Ceridian and Dayforce
• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
• Capability to handle confidential documents with utmost discretion and integrity
• Experience in uploading documents to appropriate systems
• Ability to develop accurate and comprehensive job descriptions
• Familiarity with creating and maintaining employee handbooks
• Proven track record of updating and maintaining handbooks as per organizational changes and legal requirements
• Experience in the non-profit sector would be advantageous
• Strong administrative and organizational skills are essential
• Must possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A degree in Human Resources or a related field would be beneficial.
