General Production Worker

As a General Production Worker, you will be primarily responsible for operating roll wrapping machines, which play a crucial role in the production process. Your attention to quality and detail is essential to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output. This position requires machine operator and manufacturing experience. Responsibilities- Operate roll wrapping machines and ensure smooth production processes.
- Load large spools of cable and adjust the machine as needed.
- Follow the production schedule daily.
- Ensure that the wire is properly fed into the machine, coated through an extruder, and meets specified color and thickness requirements.
- Work with various machines, including rewinders and wire formers.
- Lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
Skills
- Experience in machine operation and manufacturing.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to handle hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with excellent health and dental benefits, including a 401k company match. You will have the chance to enter the manufacturing industry and grow into leadership roles. The company offers set pay scales with an average long-term tenure of over 15 years.
Work EnvironmentOur Client is a privately held wire and cable manufacturing company specializing in a wide range of products and serving various markets such as Power Generation, Renewable Energy, Marine, Oil, Gas, and more. The company has recently expanded by purchasing two new buildings.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.25
