A manufacturing company in Bensenville, IL is seeking experienced Material Handlers to join their team. You will work on the production floor as a material handler operating equipment such as forklifts. Attention to quality and detail is very important. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a manufacturing setting as a material handler. The primary duties include loading large spools of cable and moving them throughout the facility while following the production schedule each day. There may be times when lifting 50 lbs is required.

Responsibilities

• Load large spools of cable and move them throughout the facility
• Follow the production schedule each day
• Work around various machines including rewinders and wire formers
• Maintain attention to quality and detail
• Lift up to 50 lbs as required

Skills

• Forklift operation
• Mechanically inclined
• Picking, packing, material handling, general labor, and heavy lifting
• Previous manufacturing warehouse experience

Work Environment

The work environment involves working around high-speed machinery such as rewinders and wire formers. The company operates three shifts: 1st shift (7:00 am - 3:00 pm), 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm), and 3rd shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am, Sunday to Thursday).

The facility focuses on safety and quality, providing a structured and growth-oriented environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25
