Job DescriptionJob Description

Summary: Seeking a Project Scheduler with extensive experience in Primavera P6 for creating and maintaining project schedules and performing schedule analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of scheduling experience using Primavera P6

  • Solid understanding of Project Management and Project Management Office

  • Mastery of basic/generic data skills

  • High degree of computer literacy including advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and the remainder of the MS Office suite

  • Capital project management experience with project controls focus

  • Complex problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills:

  • Primavera P6 certification

  • PMI-SP and/or PMP certification

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with project manager and leads for creation and maintenance of project schedules

  • Perform schedule analysis on projects

  • Manage scheduling and dependencies across assigned portfolios

  • Lead and participate in schedule audits

  • Interface with stakeholders to gather data and adjust scheduling parameters

  • Maintain scheduling database for all schedule templates and project schedules

  • Advise management on best use of scheduling software

  • Provide forward-looking schedule analysis to leadership

  • Evaluate project schedule progress and identify problem areas

  • Conduct analysis to determine alternative actions or recovery on slipped schedules

  • Establish, maintain, and report schedule status to communicate project progress

  • Perform schedule analytics and critical path management reviews

  • Analyze and report schedule status to focus management's attention on potential risks



Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
