Growing company in The Woodlands is searching for an experienced Accounting Analyst to join their team This position is a critical member of the accounting and finance team, responsible for accounting, reporting, and analysis of various corporate activities, as well as supporting the development and application of GAAP accounting policies and maintaining internal controls.

Responsibilities will include the following:


  • Lead the daily invoicing process
  • Work with Finance & Accounting leadership to implement a General Ledger conversion project
  • Identify accounting workflow bottlenecks with existing systems and applications and implement solutions & new procedures. AP, AR, Treasury, & Forecasting.
  • Analyze accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and appropriate recording of information
  • Monitor invoicing process, record customer payments, and analyze accounts receivable aging schedules for customer collections.
  • Assist in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process.
  • Perform general accounting functions and assist with credit management with commercial banking partners as well as monitor customer credit.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 3 years' experience, public accounting experience is a preference.
