CNC Operator Entry 2 Skilled Avail

Aerotek is seeking a CNC Operator who is comfortable on a Day Shift in Eugene, Oregon. Starting wage is based on experience and is no less than 22$HR. Those interested will be responsible for, but not limited to: Performing machining on parts and tools using blueprints and schematics. Also, operating more than one machine at a time, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for the entire shift.
Responsibilities- Operate multiple machines concurrently.
- Perform intermediate level machining of parts and tools with limited supervision.
- Set up and operate all available machine tools.
- Perform progressive machining operations on work involving close tolerances.
- Understand and apply knowledge of metals and alloys to parts being machined.
- Interpret and comprehend all forms of technical documents including blueprints, drawings, written specifications, charts, and tables.
- Use all machinist hand tools and measuring instruments skillfully.
- Fit and assemble components as necessary.
- Set up and lay out work from blueprints, sketches, and written specifications according to requirements.
- Maintain a track record of high-quality work with low rework and scrap history.
- Maintain high efficiencies and run rates for given machines.
- Work safely and as part of a high-performing team.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on volume and high mix part runs.
- Proficiency in CNC machine operation.
- Experience in production, machining, and machine operation.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Knowledge of machining, manufacturing, and general labor processes.
- Experience with assembly, lathe, and mill operations.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Understanding of metals and alloys properties.
- Experience with machinist hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Ability to set up and lay out work from technical documents.
- Track record of high-quality work and maintaining efficiency.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
