We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Consultant 2 to provide technical support to university administrative staff. This role involves handling technology requests, provisioning and troubleshooting computers and peripherals, and ensuring the smooth operation of network interfaces and operating systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for software and hardware needs of the UO Libraries, including the Price Science Commons VizLab and the Gaming Center.
- Work with the USS Academic South support team to provide technical support for its academic portfolio.
- Collaborate with the USS Administration Support Manager to ensure effective technology support for university administrative staff.
A basic foundation of knowledge and skills of technology and information systems, generally obtained through an AA degree in computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications, or related fields, or similar certified course work in applicable fields of study and at least one year of related work experience.
