We are looking for a Family Law Paralegal in the based in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The position involves supporting attorneys, managing client communications, and dealing with various legal documents. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:


• Support attorneys in their day-to-day operations.

• Manage client communications and gather necessary documents/information related to their case.

• Screen incoming calls and manage inbound/outbound communications.

• Responsible for calendar management and tracking court deadlines.

• Prepare and manage discovery requests and other legal documents.

• Use Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, Microsoft tools, and other relevant software for document formatting, data entry, and other related tasks.

• Handle electronic filing and tracking of legal documents.

• Ensure deadlines are met and maintain accurate records.

• Communicate effectively with clients, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

• Draft legal documents and briefings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with family law and litigation standards.

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Family Law Paralegal role.

• Proficient in using Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experienced in case management software for tracking and managing legal cases.

• Knowledgeable in handling billing functions related to legal services.

• Ability to prepare legal briefings and draft legal documents.

• Skilled in calendar management and ensuring deadlines are met.

• Excellent communication skills for effective client communications and correspondence.

• Proficient in document formatting, uploading documents, and receiving documents.

• Skilled in data entry tasks with high attention to detail.

• Expertise in Family Law and Litigation is required.

• Familiarity with electronic file management and e-Filing systems.

• Capable of answering inbound calls and managing inbound-outbound calls.

• Ability to manage legal documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
