Mundahl Law, PLLC is seeking a skilled and experienced paralegal to join our team. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a vital role in supporting our attorneys in trial preparation, client meetings, and document preparation.
Responsibilities:- Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and conducting research on legal articles.
- Interview clients to gather information about legal issues and assist with client meetings.
- Coordinate law office activities, including drafting subpoenas and working with process servers.
- Perform administrative duties, such as answering phone calls and maintaining our case filing system.
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence under the guidance of a lawyer.
- Handle client issues through email, zoom, and phone contact.
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule mediation and court hearings, and coordinate with other staff members on administrative matters.
- Take care of administrative tasks, such as maintaining an organized filing system and scheduling appointments for attorneys.
- Handle time and billing for self and attorneys daily and be responsible for accurate accounting of WIP on a twice-monthly basis.
- Candidates with a paralegal professional certification or advanced paralegal education will receive preference.
- 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting.
- Candidates must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program, such as an Associate's degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar.
- Excellent organizational skills and time-management skills.
