Role Description


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team full-time, on-site at our Downers Grove office. This position offers the chance to work closely with experienced attorneys, gain valuable hands-on experience in personal injury law, and contribute meaningfully to the success of our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys.
  • Assist with case intake, preparation, and management.
  • Draft legal documents, conduct legal research, and manage correspondence.
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff to facilitate case progress.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and personal injury law.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Hardworking, resourceful, and a proactive problem solver.
  • Bonus: Proficiency in Arabic, Urdu, Albanian, or Spanish is a plus
