We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Baltimore, Maryland. The role primarily involves invoice processing, data collection, and vendor communication.


Responsibilities:

• Processing invoices and maintaining accurate records

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data collection and management

• Communicating with vendors through email to update on their process

• Conducting some calling requirements for vendor communication

• Entering vendor invoices accurately and efficiently

• Reconciling vendor statements with accuracy

• Utilizing Microsoft Outlook for professional communication

• Cleaning up data and ensuring the accuracy of information

• Managing customer credit applications and maintaining accurate records

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar

• Proficiency in accounts payable (AP)

• Experience in coding invoices

• Proficient in data entry tasks

• Strong skills in invoice processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with an ERP system

• Ability to enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently

• Experience in reconciling vendor statements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
