Job Title: Temp to Perm Call Center Representative
Location: Hempstead, NY
Schedule: Full Time, 9 AM - 5 PM (Onsite until role transitions to hybrid schedule)
Compensation: $20 - $22 per hour (based on experience)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Call Center Representative to join our team in Hempstead, NY. This is a temp-to-perm position that offers an excellent opportunity to transition to a hybrid work model (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) once the role goes permanent. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and possess strong customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist customers by resolving issues, answering questions, and providing accurate information.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to de-escalate customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the system.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance customer experience and improve processes.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while providing excellent service.
Requirements:
- Previous customer service or call center experience is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to de-escalate challenging situations and provide effective solutions.
- Must be available to interview and start ASAP.
