Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Warwick, Rhode Island, for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The selected candidate will be joining our team in the construction industry. The role is primarily office-based and will involve handling a variety of accounting tasks, including sales bookkeeping, cash reporting, aging reports, and supporting the year-end audit process.

Responsibilities:

• Execute the filing process meticulously and efficiently
• Maintain accurate and updated sales books
• Generate cash reports in a timely manner
• Dispatch aging reports as required
• Provide necessary support for the year-end audit process
• Utilize construction software like Sage 300, Procore, and Office 365 to manage accounting functions
• Handle accounts receivable tasks and cash activity effectively
• Employ cash handling skills to ensure accuracy and accountability
• Use your construction accounting knowledge to maintain industry standards
• Produce aging reports as a part of accounts receivable duties.• Proficiency in accounting functions is essential
• Ability to handle accounts receivable (AR) responsibilities
• Demonstrated experience with cash activity management
• Skilled in cash handling procedures
• Knowledge of construction accounting is advantageous
• Ability to generate and analyze aging reports
