Job DescriptionJob DescriptionResponsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair: Identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and perform necessary repairs on engines, hydraulic systems, and other components.
  • Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, oil changes, and fluid level checks to ensure equipment operates smoothly.
  • Parts Replacement: Replace faulty parts and ensure all machinery components are in good working condition.
  • Technical Documentation: Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to guide repairs and maintenance.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed on equipment.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification or associate’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is often preferred.
  • Experience: Hands-on experience with heavy equipment maintenance, typically gained through apprenticeships or previous job roles.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; ability to use diagnostic tools and read technical manuals.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications like ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) are highly regarded.
