Our trusted client is seeking an interim Sr. Financial Reporting Accountant for a long-term engagement. This fully remote engagement will play a crucial role in managing financial reporting and account reconciliations within our dynamic team.


The day-to-day Responsibilities include:


• Prepare and review financial statements, including quarterly reports (10Q) and related footnotes.

• Review and manage stock expenses, ensuring the numbers are accurate.

• Handle tax review processes, identifying and rectifying any errors.

• Handle month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Prepare audit schedules to maintain a transparent and accurate financial record.

• Work closely with other senior accountants and audit firms to ensure seamless accounting processes.

• Utilize software tools such as Workiva, Blackline, and Sage Intacct for various accounting tasks.

• Handle account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

• Perform general ledger duties and journal entries.

• Utilize advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage and process data.

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:


• Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is required

• Familiarity with General Ledger and Journal Entries is mandatory

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Experience with Month End Close activities

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is mandatory

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certifications are desirable

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
