Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor in Nashville, Tennessee. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing our accounts payable department, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and expense reports. This role operates within the Accounting Functions industry, where the individual will be required to utilize their Accounts Payable (AP) and Workday skills.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the accounts payable team and supervise personnel
• Ensure vendor invoices and expense reports are processed accurately and in a timely manner
• Develop and enhance accounts payable processes to boost efficiency and precision
• Train and mentor the accounts payable staff, ensuring they adhere to company procedures
• Handle escalated accounts payable issues and provide solutions
• Oversee the monthly closing of financial records and posting of month-end information
• Generate and present reports on the accounts payable status to company executives
• Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite for day-to-day operations.• Demonstrable experience in a supervisory role within the Accounts Payable department
• Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting and finance
• Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Workday
• Advanced knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) functions
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards in accounting.
