As a detail-oriented AP/AR Specialist, you will oversee and manage financial transactions for Weatherflow-Tempest, Inc. and its sister company WFN Holdings, Inc. You will manage daily financial operations across both organizations, including accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and reporting. You should have at least 3-5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, with a strong background in QuickBooks Online (QBO), financial reporting, and accounts reconciliation.
To thrive, you should have:
- 3-5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills.
- Experience in financial reporting and familiarity with compliance standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
We prefer you to have:
- Familiarity with Melio for payment processing
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify and Amazon Seller Central).
- Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance requirements.
- Experience with budget management and cash flow monitoring.
Your responsibilities as the Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist will include:
- Record, reconcile, and manage daily transactions and accounts, handling vendor and customer billing.
- Address vendor and customer inquiries, manage employee reimbursements and monitor recurring bills.
- Assist with monthly and yearly financial closes and ensure accurate categorization of all income/expenses.
- Oversee cash flow and payments and resolve chargebacks in collaboration with customer service.
- Support audits, maintain compliance, and continuously improve accounting processes.
