Robert Half is seeking an HR Generalist to become a part of our client's team in Fresno, California. The HR Generalist will concentrate on talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to the selection of candidates

• Collaborate with hiring managers to create effective job descriptions

• Find potential candidates through job boards, social media, and employee referrals

• Carry out initial phone interviews and present candidates with relevant experience to hiring managers

• Ensure prompt communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process

• Draft offer letters and arrange necessary training for new hires

• Offer HR support to employees and managers, addressing HR-related inquiries and providing guidance on policies and procedures

• Aid the performance management process, including conducting employee evaluations and development plans

• Help in administering employee benefits and managing benefits vendor relationships

• Guarantee compliance with employment laws and company policies

• Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and maintenance of a positive working environment

• Uphold HRIS data integrity and manage employee records

• Assist in the creation and implementation of HR initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention

• Support the planning and execution of employee training and development programs

• Administer payroll and ensure accurate submission of timesheets and benefits deductions.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist in the Construction/Contractor industry.

• Proficient in ADP - Financial Services.

• Skilled in using ADP Workforce Now.

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.

• Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce software.

• Strong knowledge of Benefit Functions.

• Excellent Communication skills.

• Proven ability in Compliance and regulatory matters.

• Experience in managing Employee Relations.

• Familiarity with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) procedures.

• Demonstrated skills in Corporate Recruiting.
