Job DescriptionJob Description

LHH is seeking experienced Medical Insurance Billing and Collections Specialists for an opportunity with one our clients in Richmond, VA. This role requires a strong understanding of both private and government insurance, excellent communication skills for interacting with insurance companies, and the ability to identify discrepancies and handle appeals and denials effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage medical billing for private and government insurance claims.

  • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.

  • Identify and correct billing errors and discrepancies.

  • Handle appeals and denials, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.

  • Maintain accurate records of billing and collections activities.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth billing operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in medical billing and collections.

  • Strong understanding of private and government insurance.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in billing.

  • Experience with handling appeals and denials.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.



Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
