Pay: $24.00 - $28.00/hr

Worksite Type: ideally, fully onsite
Length of Assignment: 1 year, w potential for extension and conversion no guarantees.

Hours: 8 hour days with one hour lunch i.e. 8am - 5 pm

Looking for:

  • Has a credit manager, cash apps specialist and one other – they will handle AR, aging, cash applications and aging, so this person is just running queries what customer buckets look like 60, 90, 120, identifying cash applications, any open items, open AR, basic AR).

  • Reading contracts, understanding contracts they are reviewing

  • Knowledge of billing and AR

  • Strong Excel (formulas, ability to pull data from multiple sources, and upload, prepare a report). (ideally also pivot tables, vlookups, xlookous, basic formulas)

The Billing Specialist plays a key role in producing and providing accurate, efficient billing and customer care services to our customer base. The Billing Specialist is responsible for the gathering and analyzing of customer data, inclusive of physical assets and associated services; the generation/processing of associated customer invoices, and the support and resolution of any identified billing errors. The ideal candidate needs to possess strong data analytics and billing process knowledge. Knowledge of Great Plains and Salesforce is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Compile, analyze and process all customer billable products and services.

  • Research and resolve transaction or billing exceptions on a daily basis. This could involve reviewing data, analyzing information, diagnosing the solution and performing all system corrections.

  • Enter, validate, and maintain customer information and billing determinants as required in SFDC and Great Plains.

  • Interact with customers for general billing, accounts receivable, payment and collection inquiries and responding to their business needs and/or problems.

  • Research and resolve identified discrepancies.

  • Coordinate all re-invoice activities.

  • Respond to billing, transaction questions internally and/or externally. This may require research of Customer contracts, physical product specific information, and/or interaction with other organizations such as Sales.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Business, Accounting or Finance is preferred.

  • 2 + years of professional experience.

  • SAP experience would be extremely helpful but not required.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (excel, word, access, outlook).

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines, as well as handle multiple demands efficiently.

  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within billing and customer care processes. Generally, relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the position.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Great Plains preferred



Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
