Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in search of a Bookkeeper to join our team based in Ventura, California. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. It offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, ideal for individuals looking to grow long-term in the accounting industry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
• Perform General Ledger Account Reconciliations to verify the accuracy of data and rectify any discrepancies.
• Manage Cash Flow Projections and Cash Management to maintain optimal financial operations.
• Prepare Financial Statements to provide accurate and comprehensive financial information.
• Maintain accuracy in data entry and reporting to ensure reliable record-keeping.
• Utilize relevant accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) to automate and streamline financial operations.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to encourage a collaborative work environment.
• Prioritize excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Oversee the Month End Close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Handle payroll operations to ensure employees are compensated correctly and on time.• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations
• Demonstrable Bookkeeping skills
• Efficient in Data Entry tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge of Payroll processes
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
