Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs a Property Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a portfolio of properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained, financially profitable, and compliant with all applicable regulations. This position requires an individual with strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction and efficient property performance.
Tenant Management: Oversee leasing activities, including advertising vacancies, conducting showings, processing applications, and signing lease agreements.
Maintenance Coordination: Ensure timely maintenance and repairs, working with vendors and contractors to address any issues promptly and efficiently.
Financial Management: Prepare and manage property budgets, handle rent collections, and ensure timely invoicing. Review financial reports to track performance and recommend improvements.
Compliance and Regulations: Stay current with local, state, and federal regulations affecting property management, ensuring compliance with all laws including fair housing and safety regulations.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and fostering a positive living/working environment.
Inspection and Reporting: Conduct regular property inspections to ensure proper upkeep, identify potential issues, and ensure properties meet company standards.
Lease Renewals and Rent Increases: Manage lease renewals and rent increases in accordance with market conditions and company policies.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the property management team to streamline operations and improve tenant retention.
Required Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in property management (residential or commercial).
Strong knowledge of property management best practices, including tenant relations, maintenance, and financial tracking.
Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium).
In-depth knowledge of local property laws, including fair housing and tenant rights.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, contractors, and property owners.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A valid real estate license is preferred (if applicable in your state).
