Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team based in Fullerton, California. As a Staff Accountant, your primary function will be to handle an array of accounting tasks, including the processing of customer credit applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Your role also extends to monitoring customer accounts and initiating appropriate actions when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications and ensure they are handled efficiently
• Maintain and update customer credit records consistently
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and initiate necessary actions
• Prepare and reconcile bank and various account statements monthly
• Maintain fixed asset schedules meticulously
• Assist in the reconciliation process for monthly-end closing and journal entries
• Work closely with the Accounts Payable team and ensure annual 1099 processing
• Review Freight Invoices and maintain the containers invoice log effectively
• Handle quarterly royalty reporting diligently
• Process monthly payments and EURP payments with global ACH
• File VAT and maintain VAT reporting log based on TB
• Maintain Lease Agreements and contracts systematically
• Assist with other accounting projects as needed.• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Experienced in Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Skilled in handling General Ledger and Journal Entries
• Familiar with Month End Close procedures
• Proficiency in using software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Sage Pro
• Experience in managing Royalties
• Able to perform Account Reconciliation and Bank Account Reconciliation
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and ability to multitask effectively
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations.
