We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in Naples, Florida. The role involves overseeing the accounts payable operations and successful candidate will handle customer applications, check requests, invoicing, maintaining precise customer records, resolving invoice discrepancies, and reconciliations.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications
  • Maintain exact records of accounts payable, reconciling them with invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
  • Handle the processing of all invoices and check requests for payments on accounts while also maintaining vendor files
  • Manage credit applications for project files
  • Check the accuracy of subcontractor and vendor billings, ensuring all necessary paperwork is complete
  • Review/process change orders and update billing
  • Assist in recording expenses, tracking job costs, and entering data
  • Aid in the preparation and coordination of presentations and briefing material for senior management meetings
  • Help other staff members with their daily tasks to ensure department goals are met and important information is communicated
  • Perform various complex and specialized administrative and office support functions to ensure smooth daily operations.

• 3+ years of experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Capability to manage Check Runs and Coding Invoices effectively

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
