As a Collections Specialist your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Engage in collection processes and recovery work to maintain the financial health of our organization.
• Use accounting software systems to review and track customer accounts.
• Handle customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
• Utilize CRM and Epic Software for efficient management of customer interactions and data.
• Conduct daily reviews of accounts receivable (AR) and other accounting tasks.
• Make collection calls to customers to recover charges on accounts.
• Use Accurint for research and data collection purposes.
• Perform billing functions and claim administration as needed.
• Answer inbound calls, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues.
• Assist with the implementation and use of ADP - Financial Services for optimal financial operations.

The ideal Collections Specialist candidate will have:
• Associates of Arts, Bachelor of Science of Bachelor of Arts in Accounting preferred
• Prior experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role is desirable
• Ability to handle billing functions
• Knowledge of Claim Administration
• Understanding of Collection Processes
• Relevant experience in the Financial Services industry
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledge of Accurint
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Proficiency in using CRM
• Familiarity with Epic Software
• Understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Experience in answering inbound calls
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in work
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
