We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist to support two departments in a dual-role capacity, assisting with collections, accounts receivable management, and pore-lien processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of California Construction Law and the Preliminary Lien process, which is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Collections Manager and Accounts Receivable team to manage collections, follow up on accounts, and evaluate ongoing activities.
Perform pore-liens and lien releases, ensuring compliance with California Construction Law.
Set up new accounts with appropriate credit limits and analyze credit reports, including Trans west data.
Prepare and deliver monthly reports on base sales outstanding while actively following up on customer collections and resolving long-standing issues.
Manage high volume in accounts receivable with a focus on clear communication and creative problem-solving.
Support internal and external sales teams by organizing meetings to discuss financial health and guiding the collections team in resolving specific challenges.
Technical Skills Required:

Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
Experience with Sage 100 and Timberline software is highly preferred.
