Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team in a steel manufacturing company. The candidate will be responsible for operating and managing machinery and materials in a high-value specialty metals finishing shop. This position requires the ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and operate across multiple sites including Monaca and Rochester.

Responsibilities
  • Pass entry level testing requirements.
  • Work rotating 12-hour shifts.
  • Operate at three different sites: Monaca, Rochester, and MRZ locations.
  • Train in all operating departments for the first six months.
  • Perform finishing work at MRZ locations.
  • Operate a forklift daily to manage materials.
  • Operate an overhead crane daily to move materials.
  • Operate machines for finishing specialty steel.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to pass entry level testing.
  • Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
  • Capability to work at multiple sites.
  • Experience or willingness to be trained in operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • High school diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in steel manufacturing is preferred.
  • General labor and construction experience is beneficial.
  • Attention to detail, safety, and continuous improvement mindset.
