Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant with experience in the construction industry to join our team. This dynamic role combines financial management, project tracking, and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our business. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing project-related accounting tasks, tracking work orders, and handling administrative duties akin to those of an office manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting and Financial Management:
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
Prepare, review, and maintain project budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
Oversee job cost accounting, including tracking expenses and analyzing profitability.

Project and Work Order Management:
Track and monitor the financial aspects of various projects, including budgets, expenses, and change orders.
Collaborate with project managers to review and approve work orders and invoices.
Generate regular reports to evaluate project performance and financial metrics.

Administrative Support:
Maintain organized records and files for accounting and administrative purposes.
Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and coordinating communication across teams.
Ensure the office operates efficiently by addressing daily operational needs.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction-specific accounting practices, including job costing and project budgeting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
