Insurance Policy Advisor

As a dynamic Insurance Sales Agent with Farm Bureau - Louisburg, you will have the opportunity to connect new and existing clients with the best insurance programs tailored to their individual needs. The ideal candidate should be an intuitive communicator with a strong knowledge of various types of insurance policies and excellent organizational skills.
About the Role- You will work closely with policyholders to develop and implement risk management strategies that fit their unique profiles.
- The successful candidate will maintain and grow existing customer portfolios comprised of loyal, long-term clients by implementing effective sales strategies and tactics.
- Additionally, you will update bookkeeping systems, customer records, and sales databases to track your progress toward goals.
- You will also stay up-to-date on evolving insurance industry protocols and regulations to ensure accurate policy fulfillment and timely claims processing.
Key responsibilities include setting meetings with new and potential clients to understand their financial situations and priorities, then presenting personalized insurance plan options.
In this role, you will also have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of the insurance industry and related regulations.
Requirements- A working knowledge of the insurance industry, including insurance products and risk management profiles.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills are essential for success in this position.
- A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Proficiency with accounting or sales-related software is a plus, as is basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
