LHH Recruitment has partnered up with a great company in the Woodmere, NY area.

This is an Accounts Payable Specialist position. Direct Hire— Career Opportunity

This is an In Office Role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the AP inbox.

  • Enter and code invoices using the tools and resources available to ensure proper entry into our financial system.

  • Handle vendor correspondence via email.

  • Investigate and solve problems associated with processing payment of invoices.

  • Assist with month-end reports, audit selections, and ad hoc projects.

  • Communicate with our sister companies regarding invoice issues.

  • File, save, and maintain financial documents, vendor information, and invoice support.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable with multiple entities.

  • Understanding of principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAGE, MS Dynamics is a plus.

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Salary- $65K.
