Job DescriptionJob Description

This Embedded Systems Engineer role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing complex embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise in firmware development, strategic planning abilities, and leadership skills for guiding teams and influencing product direction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Firmware Development:

    • Architect, design, and support firmware solutions across highly complex technical projects.
    • Develop software specifications and create testing and troubleshooting strategies for firmware consistency and functionality.
  2. Project Leadership:

    • Lead technology roadmap processes, suggesting project approaches and objectives.
    • Prioritize quality and continuously seek improvements across firmware projects.
  3. Innovation and Creativity:

    • Champion innovation, coaching team members to develop, communicate, and implement new solutions.
    • Maintain a keen awareness of competitors to guide designs in surpassing competition.
  4. Intellectual Property and Technical Consulting:

    • Analyze competitor intellectual property and take part in protecting the organization’s own intellectual property.
    • Act as the organization’s spokesperson on specialized projects, serve as a prime consultant on significant projects that align with long-term goals.
  5. Team Coordination and Networking:

    • Build formal networks for cross-functional project coordination, creating positive impact and visibility for technologies and services.
Requirements:
  • Education:

    • Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 4+ years of experience in embedded systems engineering.
