Inside Sales Representative

We have an opening for Sales Representative to join our dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional health plan solutions to our valued beneficiaries. We aim to meet and exceed membership goals through strategic sales initiatives and superior customer service.
Pay and Schedule:
- $24.11-$31.20 per hour, depending on experience
- Need to have availability Monday-Sunday 7:00am-7:00pm
As a Health Plan Inside Sales Representative, you will:
- Conduct direct sales of Health Plan products via phone, email, and in-person appointments.
- Identify sales opportunities, educate potential members, and complete enrollments.
- Follow up on prospective members to ensure satisfaction.
- Perform administrative tasks, maintaining accurate information in all systems and databases.
- Manage your sales pipeline efficiently.
- Meet or exceed individual sales metrics, including sales numbers, close rates, activity completion, and documentation quality.
- Participate in process improvement events and other assigned projects.
- Mentor new and temporary sales representatives.
- Gather market intelligence to inform marketing strategies and plan design.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or customer service required.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales-related software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and support new team members.
Great to have:
- State Life & Health Insurance Producer’s License for areas of service
- Medicare Sales Training and Certification
- Successful completion of 24 continuing education credits — least 3 credits must focus on ethics, to maintain producer license required every 2 years
