Job Opportunity: Accounts Receivable Specialist (3-Month Contract)

Location: Cary, NC

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist for a 3-month contract position with a primary focus on collections. This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate customer credit records, resolving inquiries, and managing corporate collections with efficiency and precision. Candidates with experience in Big Box Retail operations and ERP systems (preferably SAP or SAP S/4HANA) will excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collections Management: Proactively monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate collection actions to ensure timely payments.
  • Credit Applications: Process customer credit applications with speed and accuracy.
  • Customer Credit Records: Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit documentation.
  • Chargebacks: Handle chargebacks effectively and efficiently.
  • Customer Inquiries: Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • ERP Systems: Utilize ERP systems (SAP, SAP S/4HANA, or equivalent) for account management and reporting.
  • Retail Operations: Apply expertise in Big Box Retail operations to support accounts receivable processes.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar field.
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and related financial procedures.
• Demonstrated experience in handling Chargebacks.
• Familiarity with Big Box Retail operations and related accounting procedures.
• Experience in Commercial Collections is essential.
• Proficient in using SAP S/4HANA for financial management and accounting tasks.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP software and its application in Accounts Receivable management.
