Mechanical Assembler

Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
Responsibilities- Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cement, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
- May install multi-level subassemblies and modules into Racks using complex configurations.
- Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
- Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies.
- Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as wiring servers and mechanical assembly.
- Performs online go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Sets up station with the correct documents and components per assembly drawing.
- Handles/installs polarized/non-polarized components in designated locations on the product.
- Proficient in using torque screwdriver and small hand tools.
- Ability to lift to 10 lbs consistently.
- Comfortable performing work on a 50-inch elevated platform, two-step ladder, or a nine-step ladder.
- Experience operating a pallet jack.
- Attention to detail.
- Good computer skills.

Work EnvironmentDay shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm. Swing shift: 2:00pm - 11:30pm. Electronic manufacturing environment. Use of ESD straps required. Work involves heavy lifting and use of power tools.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.40
