Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in the finance consulting industry, based in GREENWICH, Connecticut. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving recurring technical issues, providing IT assistance, and maintaining a strong understanding of basic networking concepts.

Responsibilities
• Diagnose and resolve recurring technical issues and implement solutions to address the root of the problems
• Provide service on technical help tickets submitted via various channels such as phone and email
• Offer IT assistance for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other software applications used internally
• Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
• Show demonstrated knowledge of user administration and bug fixing in a client-server environment
• Maintain a good understanding of IT support ticketing systems
• Demonstrate command of PC desktop and workstations
• Showcase PC hardware experience and skills
• Install and configure operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

Skills
• Proficient in PBX - PABX
• Skilled in PC Desktop - Workstation
• Experienced in PC Hardware• Candidate should possess a solid working knowledge of PBX - PABX systems.
• Experience with PC Desktop - Workstation is essential.
• Familiarity with PC Hardware and ability to troubleshoot related issues is required.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with clients.
• Familiarity with the finance consulting industry is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
• Relevant certifications in IT support or related fields would be an asset.
• Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
